DAY 1 – The Lucanian Dolomites
Arrival in Pietrapertosa and accommodation in B&B. Arriving in the morning you can enjoy a nice excursion or ride to Castelmezzano, the twin village which, like Pietrapertosa, is perched on the sandstone rock at about 1000 meters high. Overnight.
DAY 2 – the valley of the Calanchi
A busy but spectacular day. After crossing the Montepiano wood, you reach Accettura, stop in San Mauro Forte and descend into the Calanchi valley until you reach Craco, the ghost town abandoned at the beginning of the 1960s. Continue until you reach the farmhouse for an overnight stay.

DAY 3 – the Ionian Sea
Today you will cross the Calanchi area again until you reach Tursi. We suggest the view from the Rabatana district and a stop at the Sanctuary of Anglona, rich in medieval frescoes. Continue through the orchards of the Metaponto plain that will lead you directly to Policoro. Do not miss the beautiful Archaeological Museum of Siritide. Overnight at the hotel on the beach.
