Myself & 3 friends hired bikes here for 1 day (I had a gravel bike, they had e bikes). Pino who ran the shop was really helpful and gave us some good route options. He provided helmets and fitted panniers/ saddle bags so we could carry puncture repair kit etc (which was also provided). Wat een fijne bike shop! We huurden twee fietsen om de prachtige omgeving van Matera te verkennen. We zijn heel vriendelijk en deskundig geholpen met mooie fietsen, sloten, eigen pedalen gemonteerd, en  noodreparatieset mee - gelukkig niet nodig gehad. Echt een aanrader!

Mejor sitio de alquiler de bicis en toda Basilicata y Apulia.
Trato excelente, bicicletas de calidad a buen precio.

Super Service!!! Meine beiden Bremsen hatten kaum mehr Grip. Mir wurde sofort geholfen - innerhalb einer halben Stunde waren die Bremsen neu eingestellt, komplettes Fahrrad geputzt, Kette frisch geölt und ich hatte ein paar gute Tipps für die Tour in den kommenden Tagen bekommen. Our experience renting bikes here was outstanding. The gravel bikes and bike-bags we rented exceeded our expectations and was a joy to ride on. Combined with the friendly and knowledgeable staff makes Ferula bike shop very prize worthy, highly recommend!

We had little plans as we set out for a 3-day bike trip and ended up making spontaneous decisions along the way for whatever seemed most interesting. From Matera we biked to Grotolle were we had a late lunch before continuing to Grassano where we slept. Next day we headed for Accettura, passing by Garaguso for ice-cream. Having fallen in love with the small mountain cities and stunning landscape of Basilicata, we called the bike shop and asked to extend our bikes for one day, no problem💫 We therefore headed further up the mountains to Piertapertrosa where we slept for the second night. The following morning we continued to Castelmezzano, Albano di Lucania and finally Tricarico where we spent our final night. Next day we raced back to Matera, feeling like bike pros.
