You can extend any tour, by adding extra nights. You can combine tours, be it two (or more) cycling holidays, a cycling and a walking holiday, or a cycling holiday and a weeks stay in one of our charming locations.

We supply full documentation and maps to help you get the most from your holiday (roadbook, altitude details).

Documentation for all tours includes information on the hystory, culture and wildlife of the region and recommendations on what to see, and where to eat and shop.

A main road map also included if you are driving to your destinations.

Easy: mainly flat, some gentle climbs

Individual tours are not usually accompanied by a support vehicle during the itineraries. However Ferula Viaggi’s staff will make your holiday as comfortable and relaxing as possible by taking care of : – assisting you in the event of complications linked to your physical health; – Repairing and/or replacing your bicycle in case of damage;
The above involves the ability to deal with small technical problems (such as tyre punches etc) with a small kit provided for each bike, and the ability to move indipendently, with the help of the road book and of other tools provided for the tour. On demand and for Groups Tour we arrange for our minivan to follow the guests with of a bi-lingual Cyclist guide.

Weather conditions are changeable, especially at the start and end of the season.

Basilicata, despite its 9992 sq km surface, is lapped by two seas, crossed by five rivers, and marked by high mountains reaching up to 2.300 meters It is a very varied landscape, a variety which can be appreciated even by travelling only a short distance.

Consequently temperatures can vary by up to 10 degrees during a tour which takes both the coast and the mountains.

Therefore, we can consider a maximum difference in temperature ranging from a minimum of 12° (in March and November) to a maximum of 32° (in June and September).
