In Basilicata the anthropological calendar offers the possibility to walk all year long following religious festivals and local traditions.

Every year, at june, groups of faithful from Rotonda (PZ), reach the mountain on foot to cut two trees which are carried in the square, joined in "marriage" and raised in sign of devotion to Sant'Antonio.
This is a six days hard and long trip, using old transport systems, strong bulls, prairies, music and dance.
